PVP Leader Training

 

Training of PVP Leaders
 

From 13th to 19th March 2008 in Halle (Saale), Germany SAVA Working Group and SCI Germany organized Training course for future PVP leaders in SAVA WG and SC DE. The “PVP leaders’ training course“ was held simultanously with the “Standard campleader training course“, so the participants from both training courses could interact during the whole duration of the course.

The training course was prepared and lead by Danijela Juric and Georg Adelmann. It was targeting participants that already have participated basic leaders’ training course and lead a workcamp.

 
There were 5 participants: Christina Weckerle (SCI DE), Djurdjica Valadzija (VCZ Croatia), Martina Kovacev (VCZ Croatia), Ivana Davidovska (CID Macedonia), Slobodan Vasic (VCV Serbia).


From participants:
“This was an opportunity for us to learn and experience more about peace education, on workcamps through differnt methods and topics like nonviolent communication and nonviolent conflict resolution. We had an opportunity to practice our gained knowldege by practical session of mediation and by helding a workshop on Human Rights and Antiracism to participants on the Basic Campleader Traning, held at the same time.

Leaders on non-PVP workcamp & Leaders on PVP workcamp

Extensive peace education on the workcamp I
Nonviolent Communication
3rd Day
Conflict transformation
Free afternoon
4th Day
Conflict mediation
Extensive peace education on the workcamp II
5th Day
Communication with media with incl. of the PVP element of the workcamp
Inclusion of local partners into PVP workcamps
6th Day
Evaluation of the training course
